Launch day cover of the Apollo Lunar Module to examine the sites on the Moon, postmarked Van Nuys California on the launch date of May 18, 1969, boldly signed in red pencil by the mission's commander, "John Young." In fine condition. Also with a piece of beata cloth attached and a coin commemorating the Apollo X mission. COA from Zerelli Space Launched from Cape Kennedy on May 18, 1969, Apollo 10 was the fourth manned Apollo launch in seven months, and it became the second spacecraft to orbit the moon. Its crew was Commander Thomas Stafford, Lunar Module Pilot Eugene Cernan, and Command Module Pilot John Young.

John Young (September 24, 1930 – January 5, 2018) was an American astronaut, naval officer and aviator, test pilot, and aeronautical engineer. He became the ninth person to walk on the Moon as commander of the Apollo 16 mission in 1972. He is the only astronaut to fly on four different classes of spacecraft: Gemini, the Apollo command and service module, the Apollo Lunar Module and the Space Shuttle.
