Extremely rare US Treasury presidential paycheck, 8.5 x 3.25, filled out in type as payable to “Calvin Coolidge President of the United States, The White House, Washington DC” for $6,250.00, January 31, 1924, crisply endorsed on the reverse, “Deposit, Calvin Coolidge.” In fine condition, with expected check wear and cancellation holes, and mild soiling. At this time the salary for the US president was $75,000 per year, paid monthly. A superb example of a presidential rarity! Also beautifully framed with a TLS on White House stationary about receiving the Irish America Bulletin. The Framed check can is removable to see both sides of the check.
