Original circa 1870s cabinet card of Hawthorne, 4.25" x 6.5", by the prominent Warren of Boston. Toning and foxing to the image, light edge wear but in otherwise fine condition.

Nathaniel Hawthorne (July 4, 1804 – May 19, 1864) was an American novelist and short story writer. His works often focus on history, morality, and religion such as "The Scarlett Letter."
