A later printing, inscribed and signed on the front blank with the first line from his poem called Fire and Ice, "Some say the world will end in fire/Robert Frost." Original boards. 9 x 6 inches (22 x 15 cm); 113 pp. Ink signature to rear pastedown, a few spots at front, rubbing to board extremities.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
