Fountain pen signature of Mitchell who won the Pulitzer Prize for her first and only novel, Gone With the Wind (published 1936). She died at the age of 48 after being hit by an automobile. The film won the 1939 Academy Award for Best Picture, plus seven other Oscars signed Margret Mitchell
