Handwritten letter on back of postcard from this Nobel Prize–winning Irish dramatist and critic (1856–1950) who takes a place among the most distinguished and influential literary figures of his time.
Letter from Shaw to Sir Horace Curzon Plunkett, who was a member of Parliament. He lets him know his schedule of speaking engagements over the week and even talks about maybe going to the play Hamlet, if he is able to. The postcard does have some condition issues a couple bends and missing part of the top wright corner and part of the bottom right corner, not affecting signature.
