American historian who wrote The Story of Civilization, an 11-volume history of the world on which his wife Ariel collaborated. Lot of five identical never-used limitation pages, 8.5 x 12, which read, in part: "This leather-bound edition is limited to one thousand and twenty-six numbered copies signed by the authors ... " Each is signed in blue ink by "Will Durant" and "Ariel Durant." In fine condition, with a few minor creases to top borders.
