Untranslated LS in Germany, Signed "George R",one page both sides, 8x12, July 2, 1765. Intersecting folds, light toning, mounting remnants along left edge, and closely trimmed edges affecting some docketing, otherwise fine condition. In addition to English, George 111 was fluent in German and in 1761 had married the German Charlotte of Mecklenburg Strelitz, making her queen of Great Britain and Ireland.
