Buzz Aldrin signed personal check, June 17, 1977, 6 x 2.75. Personal check drawn on Crocker National Bank, Los Angeles, signed “Edwin E. Aldrin Jr.,” payable for $1,000. The check bears his printed name, “Buzz Aldrin, Dr. Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr.,” with Los Angeles address, and is endorsed on the reverse. Memo line reads: “Loan for Ace Deuce.” Prominently stamped “PAID” with June 20, 1977 bank markings.

In fine condition, with expected bank stamps and normal cancellation markings.

Buzz Aldrin (January 20, 1930) is an American former astronaut, engineer, and fighter pilot. He made three spacewalks as pilot of the 1966 Gemini 12 mission. As the Lunar Module Eagle pilot on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, he and mission commander Neil Armstrong were the first two people to land on the Moon.
