Handwritten Manuscript not signed. 20 very full pages 11 x 8.5. A very interesting and extremely patriotic speech entitled "Our Country and Our Flag". It covers a number of topics including the Constitution, the power of the Presidency, the divine mission of the nation, the greatness of Hamilton, et al." even what today would be considered racist, in part "Nature had given this incomparable land to the savages, and for centuries it was without development until some fixed purpose revealed it to the civilization of the old world ... The Federalists were right, there could be no nation without a ruling federal power." Quite an interesting and important manuscript by Harding. There are some condition issues, toning to pages and some of the pages do show edge chipping and some minor splits, but very little text has been affected.
