The most remarkable combination of autographs we have ever encountered. Signatures, with dates in their hands, of two President DURING THEIR INCUMBENCY (Cleveland and B. Harrison) and a rare FULL signature of Caroline Scott Harrison as :first lady. Sanders lists an ALS of Caroline at $2000. Cleveland signed this before the 1888 election (as Pres.) and the Harrison’s after the 1888 election (as Pres. and first lady) in which Cleveland received a greater popular vote than Harrison but Harrison won in the Electoral College. On verso are signatures of W1l1iiam Jennings Bryan, James G. Blaine as Secretary of State and "Champ" Clark.
