A fine TLS form Harrison on his personal stationary dated January 26, 1897 to a Dr. J. H. Smart Dr. about a matter that he thinks he had taken care of with General Noble. Genral Nobel is most likely John Willock Noble, (October 26, 1831 – March 22, 1912) was a U.S. lawyer and brevet brigadier general in the Civil War. He served as Harrison's Secretary of the Interior between 1889 and 1893.
