Two Society of American Magicians membership cards one signed by Harry Houdini dated 1921 for a W. E. McCarroll. As well as another SAM signed by his younger brother Theodore Hardeen also a professional magician. Founded on May 10, 1902, in the back room of Martinka's magic shop in New York, the Society expanded under the leadership of Harry Houdini during his term as National President from 1917-1926. Fantastic association between the oldest magical organization in America and the world’s most famous magician. Houdini's signature is on the light side and bad contrast due to being on the red membership card.
