Russell, Lillian: ALS. Intriguing message to the scandal-ridden Charles Playfair, whose wife divorced him when he threatened to kill her. "Dear Playfair" begins the ravishing beauty's note, inviting him " ... up to dinner ... and we can have the.. little chat." On her personal engraved stationery. Really GREAT piece of naughty history. With stories from the NY Times about this scandal.
