Autograph letter signed "Saul Steinberg" on The New Yorker editorial offices letterhead, Apr 25 '59, to Mr. Delpire: "Some more stuff – Only thing missing is one page of very telegraphic description of the murals. I'll send you this in 2-3 days. I'm anxious to see some proofs... I hope you'll use most of the drawings I sent you. I leave the mise en page to you obviously and I hope you'll do a remarkable job." Robert Delpire published Steinberg's "Dessins" in Paris; the murals are probably those for the Terrace Plaza Hotel or the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Condition: light toning.
