September 27, 1938 Handwritten letter on Ronald Reagan Warner Brothers Studio Burbank, California letterhead. 21-year-old Ronald Reagan full-page signed the letter. One of the earliest known Hollywood signed letters with a full name signature. Comes with an original envelope, with the address also in his hand.
Letter in full: Dear Mrs. De Martin thanks for your very nice letter I’m sorry but the Studio takes care of all requests for photos so you receive a card from them telling how you may get that get the photo. Now please do not feel bitter towards me as we must obey the rules. I am enclosing an autograph as your request. I have finished Girls in prohibition and Brothers Rat also a small part in going places and now doing a secret service picture so now do you best wishes Ronald Reagan.
