Offered here is a 3.25" x 3.25" cut signed by Marilyn in her beautiful flourishing style. The cut has been custom matted and framed with an 11" x 14" print of the iconic "flying skirt" photo. The beautifully framed display measures an overall size of 20.75" x 27". The cut itself has some folding and staining but the beauty of the autograph and the surrounding display detract from the minor flaw. This unique piece is ready for display!
Marilyn Monroe (June 1, 1926 – August 4, 1962) was an American actress, model, and singer. Known for playing comic "blonde bombshell" characters, she became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and early 1960s, as well as an emblem of the era's sexual revolution. She was a top-billed actress for a decade, and her films grossed $200 million (equivalent to $2 billion in 2022) by the time of her death in 1962. Long after her death, Monroe remains a pop culture icon. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked her as the sixth-greatest female screen legend from the Golden Age of Hollywood.
