Partial self-contained ADS, signed "Wm. Williams," one page, 3 x 1.5, July 4, 1764. The partial document reads: "Rec'd & recorded in Lebanon," with Williams signing at the conclusion. A central vertical fold, and show-through from writing on the reverse, otherwise fine condition.
William Williams (April 8, 1731 – August 2, 1811) was an American Founding Father, merchant, delegate for Connecticut to the Continental Congress in 1776, and a signatory to the United States Declaration of Independence.
