Two typed written and signed letters, one by Jack Dempsey the heavyweight Boxer, and the other by Conrad Nagel the famous actor. Both letters are in support of their friend and writer Lew Lipton. They both are in reference to a story Lipton wrote that appeared in the Mike Shayne Mystery Magazine called “ A Chinaman’s Chance”. The letters are in fair condition with repaired holes in the Dempsy and heavy toning not affecting his signature and toning throughout the Nagel letter.

Lew Lipton (February 23, 1897 – December 27, 1961), was an American screenwriter who was active during the latter part of the silent era and the beginning of the talking picture era. With One of a Kind Collectibles LOA.
