Carters and Mondales, Signed poster

CARTERS and MONDALES. Large poster 19 x 17 mounted on a 23 x 17” stiff cardboard advertising the ‘P’ Street Art Auction, a fundraiser for the Phillips Collection. Boldly signed on the lower mount by Jimmy Carter (large signature), Rosalynn Carter, Vice-President Fritz Mondale, and his wife Joan Mondale, who has added “Best wishes”. Mrs. Mondale was very much into the arts. Taped to the back is a letter on stationery “Office of the Vice President” from from Mary Ann Tighe verifying that the autographs are authentic.
