Richard Nixon All Star Team- Signed by Nixon and some of his Picks!

NIXON, Richard. President and Others. Nixon and his son-in-law David Eisenhower (Ike’s grandson) were great baseball fans. At one point they decided to pick their all-time All-Star team and expanded it into different eras and different leagues. On July 15, 1992, the teams were announced at a luncheon at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, California. There was a handsome 18-page program. The one offered here was signed by Nixon and David Eisenhower and also by Buck Rogers (then the manager of the California Angels), Babe Ruth’s daughter Julia Ruth Stevens, and seven members of the Baseball Hall of Fame – Brooks Robinson, Johnny Mize, Rollie Fingers, Johnnie Bench, Bob Feller, George Kell and Harmon Killebrew.
