Offered is a one-page, two-sided Pop Warner ALS on his personal stationery dated March 21, 1939, written and signed "Pop" in black fountain pen. The letter is to one "Jimmie" and has great content in reference to Pop defending a comment he made about strength of schedules to fellow college head coach Dud Degroot. 8.5" x 10.5"  in size, the letter has mailing folds/creases but is in otherwise fine condition.

Warner is among the greatest college football coaches in history, compiling a career record of 319-106-32. The innovative coach, who invented the single-wing formation offense, which later transformed into the shotgun and spread formations of today coached four National Championship teams and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1951.
