A 2 page letter signed by Carl Laemmle Jr. with great content about silent classics. The letter is dated July 17, 1928, and signed on the second page in black ink "Carl Laemmle". Also included is the Universal Pictures Corporation envelope that the letter originally came in. A 1928 Universal Picture Newsletter and Universal postcard with major films listed is also included.
Carl Laemmle (January 17, 1867 – September 24, 1939) was a German-American film producer and the co-founder and, until 1934, owner of Universal Pictures. He produced or worked on over 400 films.
