Edward Everett signed autograph letter. 1 page, 4.5" x 6.5". Cambridge, Massachusetts, August 13, 1857. To I.F. Haven Esq., in full: "Dear Sir, I propose to forward by express this afternoon or tomorrow for the Library of the Antiquarian Society the third, fourth, fifth volumes of the works of "John Adams" just published. Yours, dear sir, with much regard. Edward Everett". Minor creasing and fold lines but in otherwise fine condition..

Edward Everett DS as Governor Of Massachusetts Appointment Of John R. Simpson As Justice Of The Peace Countersigned By John P Bigelow As Secretary Of The Commonwealth. 1837 large document with a stamped seal, multiple fold lines, and approx 10.5" x 16.5".

Edward Everett (April 11, 1794 – January 15, 1865) was an American politician, Unitarian pastor, educator, diplomat, and orator from Massachusetts. Everett, as a Whig, served as U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator, the 15th Governor of Massachusetts, Minister to Great Britain, and the United States Secretary of State. He also taught at Harvard University and served as its president.
