Brigham Young Document Signed "Brigham Young/ Governor". One page, 7.5" x 10", June 1st, 1855, "Executive Dept. Utah Territory/ Great Salt Lake City". This letter is written by the early Mormon leader to The governor of Rhode Island in reference to receiving copies of a resolution by the general assembly of the state of Rhode Island".
Brigham Young (1801-1877) served as the president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was the founder of Salt Lake City. He was also the first governor of the Utah Territory. He boldly signs this document, which is in near fine condition. With One of a Kind Collectibles LOA
