Original signed and illustrated sketch of a human heart on a card stock of a popcorn box. About 6" x 5.5" in size and signed at the bottom, “Denton A. Cooley MD 6.17.13.” In fine condition.
Denton Arthur Cooley (August 22, 1920 – November 18, 2016) was an American heart and cardiothoracic surgeon famous for performing the first implantation of a total artificial heart.
