PAINE, Robert Treat (1731-1814). Autograph signed endorsement, Bristol, Sept. 24, 1770, as Justice of the Peace, saying a "Job Williams, took the oath previous to the issuing executions before me Robert Treat Paine Jus OPeace". on a 3.5" x 4" trimmed page. Paine signed the Declaration of Independence as a representative from Massachusetts.
