Signed Louis Bleriot Lithograph of His Plane over the English Channel, hand-colored lithograph (15" x 17.5") published by The Wright Aeronautical Corporation in 1928 illustrating the Bleriot XI craft in flight. Printed title of image Louis Bleriot passes the White Cliffs of Dover in May, 1909. Fountain pen signed, L. Bleriot with the month of May whited out and corrected to July, in print. Louis Bleriot (1872-1936) was the first aviator to cross the English Channel in a heavier-than-air craft on July 25, 1909; winning a contest sponsored by the London Daily Mail.
