1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, AU53 PCGS. This is the most sought-after die pair for the 1922 No D cents, with a Strong Reverse, a bold date, and absolutely no trace of a mintmark. Obverse details are generally soft, as the Denver mint prolonged die usage and engaged in extensive lapping. The reverse, however, features crisp definition with minimal evidence of circulation small pin scratch. A smooth, chocolate-brown representative.
