Spanish monarch (1451-1504) best known as the sponsor and the patron of Christopher Columbus in his ventures to the ‘New World.’ Manuscript DS, signed “Yo La Reyna [I the Queen].” One page 9 x 12, dated April 6, 1501, in old Spanish. The document presents an order to the Queen’s chamberlain, Sancho de Paredes, to pay the sume of 7,500 maravedis. Countersigned by the Queen’s secretary Gasper De Trizio, beneath the words, ‘by Command of the Queen’ In very good to fine condition with two repaired cancellation cuts.
