Charles Lee (1758 – June 24, 1815) was an American lawyer from Virginia. He served as United States Attorney General from 1795 until 1801 and Secretary of State ad interim from May 13, 1800, to June 5, 1800.
ALS, signed 2 times by Lee "Charles Lee", three pages and cover, 6.25 x 7.75, Alexandria July 29th 1791.. Lee writes about financial and legal maters and citing a case from 1778 during the revolutionary war. between Lochart & Whites very good condition.
