EDWARD VIII: (1894-1972) King of the United Kingdom January - December 1936. Later Duke of Windsor. Bold, dark fountain pen ink signature ('Edward P', as Prince of Wales) on a piece of stationery, also signed by his younger brother, George, Duke of Kent (1902-1942) Dated 1931 at the head. Some light toning but in fine condition. Also include is another important signature of EDWARD VIII as King, which is quite rare due to his a reign of 326 days, Edward was one of the shortest-reigning monarchs in British history. dated 1936 unusual to have both examples, especially as KING.
