American entrepreneur (1912 - 1902), Tiffany was the founder of Tiffany & Co. which is now synonymous with spectacular jewelry and decorative wares in metal, glass, and other materials. We have a Sarony cabinet card photographic portrait of Tiffany. The item is signed across the image “Feby. 15th 1892, My eightieth birthday, C.L. Tifffany” in black ink. Measures 164 x 106 mm and is unframed. In good condition, with toning and slight fading to image, edge tear extending into background at upper left, and skinning and staining to mount.
