Edmund Kean, (born March 17, 1789, London, England—died May 15, 1833, London), one of the greatest of English tragic actors, a turbulent genius noted as much for his megalomania and ungovernable behavior as for his portrayals of villains in Shakespearean plays. Considered one of the best actors in his time. Rare original signed ticket and early engraving of Edmund Kean. This ticket is form the famous Drury Lane theater which is the oldest theater site in London, with the first theater built there in 1663. Great item. The Ticket is from the Theater Royal, Drury Lane Ticket for 2 box seats for the comedy play Town and Country June 2, 1820
