Pierre S. du Pont, (born 1870), the most important of the modern du Ponts. President of Du Pont 1915-1919. Biographers have described him “as one of the business giants responsible for the American industrial pre-eminence and as the ablest member of his clan since the founder. Typed Letter dated May 26th, 1928 and signed on his Wilmington, Delaware stationery. Addressed to a Rev. C. J. A. Holmgren, Forum of Conscience & Love, Concord, NH.
