Letter signed by Truman as President on White House Stationary in fountain pen, dated April 30, 1945, stating that "As i go forward with the tasks entrusted to me, I do so with greater strength because of your prayers and cofidence.This letter was written just a couple week s after FDR had passed and Truman had taken over the office of president. Former President of the United States who led the country in the closing days of World War II through the rebuilding Europe under the Marshall Plan and the Korean War.
