A lot featuring the autograph of Ronald Reagan, accompanied by three original vintage photographs from his early political career. Included are two vintage 8" x 10" images—one a formal portrait of Reagan, the other capturing him in a social moment with three women, including a vintage studio stamp from photographer Allan Stern. The third photograph, measuring 4.5" x 5.5", shows Reagan alongside Nancy Reagan and four others.
The bold ink signature is clipped and affixed to the back of the Stern photo, offering a visually compelling and historically rich presentation. Also included is the original envelope from Herzog Photographers, addressed to Illinois State Senator Bertil Rosander, with period notations referencing the event and image.
Ronald Reagan (February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) was an American politician who served as the 40th president of the United States from 1981 to 1989. A member of the Republican Party from 1962 onward, he also served as the 33rd governor of California from 1967 to 1975 after having a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader.
