Mrs. Roosevelt, on her Hyde Park stationery November 19, 1946, sends a brief note to Winchell thanking him for two letters he had received lauding FDR (e.g., "the greatest man America has ever seen "). These letters are included, plus an album page signed by Winchell (arguably the best-known radio man of the day) with a clipping and excerpt from American Heritage.
