Carnegie, Andrew – Signed, typed letter to Edward A. Filene, Boston, MA, dated December 6, 1910. Letter, on letterhead of Carnegie’s New York residence, states, “It would give me great pleasure under ordinary circumstances to meet the gentlemen as proposed, but really I hav(sic) on my hands already as much work as I can possibly attend to, and I am off to Washington to spend most of next week there. I find that one must restrict his field of operations.”
