Original Leaf from a late medieval manuscript prayer book, the Book Of Hours. 20 lines of text ruled in red, with rubrics in red. line endings in red & blue, with liquid gold infill. Written in angular gothic bookhand on animal vellum. two-line initial in white & gray acanthus with floral infill on gold grounds. Elaborate panel borders on both sides. France: Rouen; Use of Rouen c. 1490-1500. Very Fine execution, closely related to the master of the Geneva Latini.
