This is a rare document signed by Seneca Chief Young King, great Indian leader; led the Indians in the famous Wyoming Massacre. The document originates from the great collector/dealer Charles Hamilton in which he described it as extremely rare. The document is for a payment by the US to his tribe in the amount of 100 Dollars. In part the document reads.. Received of the United states by the hands of Jasper Parrish Sub Agent to the Six Nations of Indians, One Hundred Dollars, in full for my individual annuity for the first and second quarters of 1827, per Act of Congress of 16th April 1827. Signed duplicates in presence of Chas F. Coit Jellis Clute Horatio Youas Dated at Buffalo, June 11th, 1827 his Young X King mark.
