This $100 stock from 1890 is for 50 shares. All signatures are very lightly cut canceled and are superb. The signature of Rockefeller is especially large and bold. The stock is about 16" x 7 1/2" and in fine condition.
John D. Rockefeller Sr. (July 8, 1839 – May 23, 1937) was an American business magnate and philanthropist. He is widely considered the wealthiest American of all time and the richest person in modern history.
Henry Flagler (January 2, 1830 – May 20, 1913) was an American industrialist and a founder of Standard Oil, which was first based in Ohio. He was also a key figure in the development of the Atlantic coast of Florida and the founder of the Florida East Coast Railway, much of which he built through convict leasing. He is also known as a founder of the cities of Miami and Palm Beach, Florida.
