Sports signatures of Tony Conigliaro,Gifted player with the Boston Red Sox until he was hit in the face with a fastball thrown by Jack Hamilton. Tony returned to the lineup a year and a half later, hit another twenty home runs, had thirty-six the year after, but was forced to retire due to his eyesight being permanently damaged and died in 1990.

Lyman Bostock, Jr.,Lyman Wesley Bostock Jr. (November 22, 1950 – September 23, 1978) was an American professional baseball player. He played Major League Baseball for four seasons, as an outfielder for the Minnesota Twins (1975–77) and California Angels (1978). He batted left-handed and threw right-handed.Bostock's career was cut short when he was shot and killed in his hometown of Gary, Indiana.

 Danny Leon Thompson (February 1, 1947 – December 10, 1976) was a college and professional baseball player, a major league shortstop from 1970 to 1976. Diagnosed with leukemia in early 1973 at age 26, he played four more seasons in the majors and died just ten weeks after his final game.

Spider Sabich ladimir Peter Sabich Jr. (January 10, 1945 – March 21, 1976) was an American alpine ski racer, a member of the U.S. Ski Team on the World Cup circuit in the late 1960s. He competed at the 1968 Winter Olympics and was the pro ski racing champion in 1971 and 1972. Sabich was killed by gunshot under controversial circumstances in 1976.
