DS, signed “Elizabeth R,” one page both sides, 8.25 x 13, October 24, 1957. In part: “Whereas Alfred E. Stevens ... gaining to submit to the Registrar of Companies a copy of the Annual Return and it was ordered he should pay a fine of ten pounds in respect of each offence. Now know ye that We in consideration of some circumstances humbly represented unto Us, and are Graciously pleased to extend Our Grace and Mercy unto the said .... and to pardon and remit unto him the fine imposed upon him as aforesaid.”in very fine condition with official seal and bold dark signature of the Queen. Pardons signed by the Queen are quite uncommon.
