This collection from the 35th Congress of the United States of 14 autographs is quite unusual. On one 7.75"x 10" page it is quite rare to find Sam, Houston,President Andrew Johnson, Robert Tooms ( First Secretary of State to the Confederacy) and J. M. Mason ( Confederate Envoy)and etc.

HOUSTON, Samuel, Representative from Tennessee and a Senator from Texas; first President of the Republic of Texas 1836-1838; Governor of Texas 1859-1861;

TOOMBS, Robert Augustus. a Representative and a Senator from Georgia; born in Wilkes County, Ga., July 2, 1810; Secretary of State of the Confederate States; brigadier general in the Confederate Army;

POLK, Trusten, a Senator from Missouri served as colonel in the Confederate Army; judge in the military courts of HAMMOND. James Henry, a Senator from South Carolina, Governor of South Carolina 1842-1844;

GREEN . James Stephen, a Representative and a Senator from Missouri YULEE. David Levy, a Delegate and a Senator from Florida;

BAYARD, James Asheton. Jr., a Senator from Delaware; born in Wilmington; GWIN. William McKendree, a Representative from Mississippi and a Senator from California;

MASON, James Murray. a Representative and a Senator from Virginia; PUGH, George Ellis, a Senator from Ohio; born in Cincinnati; IVERSON. Alfred. Sr., a Representative and a Senator from Georgia;
