Woody Guthrie, Signed Contract, 1950s. Document Signed,partially printed, accomplished in autograph, 4pp., 11 x 8 1/2 in., New York, c. 1950's. Being an unexecuted songwriter's contract between Guthrie and People's Songs, Inc. assigning his unpublished original song entitled "Talking Dust Bowl Blues." On page 2 Guthrie has written his full name and address "Woody Guthrie / 3520 Mermaid Avenue, Brooklyn, 24, N.Y." On page 3 Guthrie has signed his name and added "100%" regarding his share of the proceeds from the song. Age toned. Four small staple holes on each page at top left corner. Overall in very good condition. 8 1/2" x 11"
