Peyton Randolph Document Signed "Peyton Randolph." One page, 6.5" x 4.75", partially printed and completed in manuscript, March 4, 1773. Randolph signs a Two Pound note, "Current Money of Virginia". The note is also signed by John Blair, and endorsed on the verso by Robert Carter Nicholas as Treasurer of Virginia.

Peyton Randolph was the first President of the Continental Congress and as such his signature is one of the scarcest of the Presidents of the Congress. John Blair, likewise is an important early American statesman,signer of the Constitution in 1787 and picked by George Washington to serve as an associate justice of the first Supreme Court. 

In very good condition, with intersecting folds, overall creases and wrinkles, and scattered toning.
