John Hancock and Samuel Adams dual-signed judicial appointment signed as Massachusetts Governor and Lieutenant Governor, respectively. Document appoints Daniel Perry as justice of the piece of Medfield, Norfork Massachusetts on 2 July 1793. Hancock boldly signs ''John Hancock'' underneath seal, with his familiar paraph below the signature. Adams signs ''S Adams'' to verso of the document. Measures 10' x 16'' on one sheet. Folds, light toning and spotting. Ink remains very bold and legible. In very good to near fine condition given age did detach at fold line which has been held together with repair.
