Rare Manuscript DS, signed three times, “Mathew Thornton,” one page both sides, 6" x 7.25", October 25th, 1765. Legal document concerning the "Estate of Alexander Richey,of Windham," and the sale of several tracts of lands as authorized by the Judge of the Probate of Wills. Signed within text twice and at the conclusion by Thornton as a witness. In very good to fine condition, with toning, soiling, and splitting to the folds.
