James Montgomery Flagg (June 18, 1877 – May 27, 1960) was an American artist and illustrator. He worked in media ranging from fine art painting to cartooning, but is best remembered for his Uncle Sam political posters.
Sketch of profile of a woman signed below by Flagg on a 6"x4.25 yellow album page which has been repaired on the top part of the sketch as well as left in corner has been trimmed away as well dated September 11/30. Accompanied with a fine 5"x7" BW photo of Flagg and an additional signature.
